FMSA Architecture is a Melbourne-based multi-disciplinary practice working in sectors such as education, tourism, residential, government, commercial and urban design projects. Studio Fellow was approached by FMSA for their rebrand, collateral and the redesign their existing website.
The identity we developed was an elegantly-simple response to the company’s acronym, which accordions out to reveal the director’s names. Modern, vibrant and memorable it forms a strong masthead for their communications. Thus the brand as an extension was minimal and clean in nature, in order to highlight the complexity and vibrancy of their architecture.
Studio Fellow created:
– Print design
– UX design
– Responsive web design
A fully-responsive website was created to beautifully showcase the company’s designs within the new brand.
Keeping the focus on usability and ease of presentation, a modern, easy to update and beautiful site was the result.
“We came to Studio Fellow needing to modernise our website so that it was simpler, worked across all devices and was easy to manage in-house. We had a lot of ideas and through our discussions with Carlos it became clear that the project needed to extend to a review of our branding, which no longer represented the practice and was difficult to apply across our various outputs. Carlos made the process easy and open so we felt like part of the solution. The end result is a branding solution and website that represents our approach, and the future direction of the practice.”
